So, here comes the different kind of genres with different origins. Every reader can choose a genre, that align with their taste.
And Xuanhuan genre is one of them which originate from Chinese web novels. And the list going to be based on this.
But before we list down the novels. I want you people to have a look on this question.
What is Xuanhuan novel ?
Xuanhuan novel literally means “Mysterious Fantasy” which incorporates Chinese mythologies and different kind of cultivation other than the usual cultivation of ‘Qi Gathering, foundation establishment, Gold Core and Nascent soul’.
Now that you people know what really Xuanhuan represent, let us list down the novels that I’ve compiled.
Note: This list strictly based on my taste buds and I like spicy .
General Overview: Reincarnated into a body of a youngster, Jiang Chen used his million years of knowledge to strike down the door to his mysterious yet joyful(?) journey. He embarks on the path to become the sovereign.
My View: This is probably one of the best web novels I read amongst all the ‘once an OP guy, now a trash’ tropes. The protagonist here is tactical genius who ‘really’ uses his wits to defeat his opponent. And there is all this mystery too. Not to mention, the guy seriously chases what’s best for him not just some random women from the streets.
General Overview: Chu Yang had only one regret in his life, that he was not able to save his love of life, now with a sword in his hand, he would get another chance to carve his future however he wishes. The heaven would shudder when he strides towards the accomplishment of his Nine Tribulation Sword.
My View: Chu Yang has great personality; he is not overbearing or arrogant as I see it. He’s best at plan-making, a tactician if I say so myself. The side characters develop their own personality and background over the story, they are not just there for the sake of the story progress. And the world building is vast. And there are many elements that might be amusing to you.
General Overview: Jun Moxie, once an assassin in modern world with the name of Jun Xie, travelled to the world very different from his previous world. But now with his gift given by the heavens he’d transverse thousand miles in his cultivation.
My View: Main Character has smart and vivid (shameless) personality. There are lot of treachery you can see in this web novel but it strictly adheres to a plot that is more of a big picture than you can see. The other characters and world building are just amazing. And last but not least I don’t like villains in this novel.
Conclusion
There are more novels in my list but these can easily take the top pick. And as you can see, I am not really a wordy type but I surely want to encourage others to at least try these Xuanhuan web novels. So just get into it.
