GOD’S WORD HEALS

Psalms 107:20 (NKJV) He sent His Word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

When God, our Father, gave us His Word, it was to provide for all of our needs as we live our lives.  His Word provides for our spiritual needs, mental needs, and physical needs. Our God is a good God who loves His children, and He wants us to have a blessed life here on earth.

Jesus said in John 16:33, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

While we are in this world, we will have things come against us and attack us.  That is why He has given us His Word: to overcome the enemy and the attacks of life.  The armor of God is for our protection, and the sword of the Spirit is the Word of God to defeat the enemy.

God has given us an amazing arsenal of weapons to keep the devil in his place until Jesus returns.  Too many times, we do not take the time to find out what these weapons are that God has given us, and we miss out on so many of the blessings of our Father.

As we look at the subject of healing, so many people say, “Well, whatever the Father’s will is, that is what I will get.”  But we see from today’s verse that God’s will is to heal us.  He only wants the best for us, and He cares for us in each part of our being.

So today, receive His Word concerning healing, and let the Great Physician heal you. Yes, God has healed us spiritually, but He also sent His Word to heal us physically. His Word was sent to us to deliver us, and to set us free as we walk through life’s journey. So never think that you are alone.  His Word is always with us to give us the victory, in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Confession:  God sent His Word to heal me. Today, I receive His full healing for my life. Today, I receive healing spiritually, mentally, and physically. The healing that He has bought for me is a complete healing.  Thank you Father for your complete work being done in me.

THE SPIRIT OF GENEROSITY

THE SPIRIT OF GENEROSITY

2 Corinthians 9:6-9 (NKJV) But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. 9 As it is written: “He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever.”

God, our Heavenly Father, is a Father of generosity.  He has given to us not just what we need, but an overabundance.  He has given to us so much food, so much beauty, so many stars, so many birds, and the list goes on and on.  God wants us to be a generous people.  As we let a spirit of generosity guide our life, it is truly amazing how everything comes together, and we have an overflow of abundance.

The Scripture is clear that if we hoard up and do not share, then even what we have is taken away.  But when we have a liberal spirit, a spirit that wants to help and be a blessing, then it seems to just come right back to us.  Think of it.  If a farmer says, “No, I do not want to plant.  I want to keep all of my seeds in these bags in my barn,” he will not get a harvest, and he might even lose what he has from rodents getting into the sacks.  But if this same farmer takes his seed and scatters it into the fields, look out!  His seed can multiply even a hundred-fold.

So today, have a generous spirit.  That does not mean you give all you have away.  It means that as God puts things on your heart, and as He blesses you with the means, you give!  You will see that you truly cannot out give God.  You will see the harvest come right back to you, so that you will have more.  Then you can be a continual blessing throughout life.

CONFESSION:  Today, I declare and decree that I am a generous person.  I am a person that goes out of my way to help others, and to be a blessing to those in need.

LOVE GOD, LOVE PEOPLE

LOVE GOD, LOVE PEOPLE

Matthew 22:35-40 (NKJV) 35 Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying, 36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” 37 Jesus said to him, “’You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 “This is the first and great commandment. 39 “And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 “On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Love God!  It sounds easy, until we think of what that means. God tells us that if we love Him, then we will love people.  Now that is where it gets hard!  Oh, it is easy to wake up and say, “Oh Father, I love you.  I love you so much, and my life is yours.  Anything that you ask, I will do.”  Then we hear His still small voice saying, “Ok, go and love so-and-so,” and that is when the challenge begins!

You see, people are made in the image of God, but we are still living with these bodies right now.  As much as His command is to love Him, it is just as much His command to love one another. We cannot just pick and choose which scriptures we want to live by.  His Word is complete, and His Word will always give us the victory!

When we make a decision to walk the true love walk, then we will be acting like our Father.  The Bible declares that God is love.  It does not say that God uses love, but that He is love.  When we walk in love towards the unloving, we are acting just like Jesus, Who loved us even when we were still in our sins.

So today, make a decision to love those that are unloving, and to fulfill His commandment on both ends.  Make a decision to be like Jesus, and to live with an attitude that every person is special and loved by the Father.  Remember that if we do our part, God will do His.  So go ahead: Love God and Love People!

Confession:  Today, I choose to love God, and to love others. Today, I choose to get out of my comfort zone, and to be a blessing to others.  When I love others, I am truly expressing that I love God.

Have the Three Wise Men Met Jesus in Bethlehem?

Have the Three Wise Men Met Jesus in Bethlehem?

Some people believe that the three wise men from the east have met up the newborn Jesus in Bethlehem of Judea. However, does this account match what the Bible actually says? Surely the messiah was born there, in the days of Herod the king, since this is what the prophet wrote (Mic 5:2). But what do we really know about the visit of the wise men? In order to fully understand the story, it's necessary to read the Gospels with attention.

According to the Gospels, Jesus was born in Bethlehem. Matthew writes that Herod inquired of the priests and the scribes where the Christ was to be born. Then he sent the wise men to Bethlehem. They departed; but the star, which they had seen in the east for the first time, came again and stood over where the young child was (Matt 2:9). So, Matthew does not say that they met up the baby in Bethlehem. In other words, the wise men followed the star, not Herod's instructions. On the other hand, according to Luke, Joseph went into Judea, to the city of David, or Bethlehem, to be registered with Mary, who was with a child. The baby was born there in the manger (Lk 2:16). Luke explains that the Roman Emperor Caesar Augustus had commanded a census, and all the world should be registered. Joseph was of the house and lineage of David.

In reality, the holy authors portray two visits that took place in two different times and places. First, Luke (2:16) writes that the shepherds found Mary and Joseph with the baby lying in the manger. Second, Matthew (2:11) writes that, when the wise men had come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother. Note that in Bethlehem there was no room for Joseph and Mary in the inn. They had a house only in their town, Nazareth in Galilee.

Now, let's summarize the events. Pay attention to the words in bold. The quotations are from the New King James Version of the Bible.

1. Matthew's narrative: The wise men got into the house. Then, they saw the young child with Mary.

2. Luke's narrative: The shepherds found Mary and Joseph with the baby, lying in the manger.

It is important to read these verses in the original Greek. The New Testament Greek uses two words for child. For a newborn, the word used is "bréfos", while for a young child, the word is "paidós" (Nestle-Aland). In Latin the Vulgate also makes the same distinction when it uses the words "infante" and "puer", respectively.

After forty days from his birth, Jesus and his mother were purified. Following the Law of Moses, Jesus was presented in the Temple. Then, the family left Jerusalem and returned with the baby to their home at Nazareth. As the Gospel writer Luke says, it was only after the visit of the three wise men that the parents with the young child had left to Egypt. Could the family escape to Egypt before the ceremony in Jerusalem? No.

Then, an attentive reading reveals the three wise men from the east have never been in Bethlehem of Judea. They followed the star and found the young child in his house in Nazareth. These wise men, or kings, represent the kings of all nations that would fell down and worship King Jesus.

The Right Time to Start Preparing for NEET

The Right Time to Start Preparing for NEET

By Subhashish Bose

Coaching centres are the preferred choice for most students as they don't want to miss the chance to ace the NEET exam. Gone are the days when tuitions were popular to get extra help; nowadays, coaching is considered to be a vital part of the preparation to succeed in the exam. Parents fear that their child may miss out something important if they fail to enrol.

A multitude of students enrols in coaching from as early as class 9. The question arises whether coaching for NEET at such an early age is really needed to ace the exam. To answer this question, let's take a look at the pros and cons of receiving coaching in class 9 as well as class 11.

The Pros of Joining NEET Coaching From Class 9

• Students at the coaching centres learn logical and analytical skills during their preparation, which help them in their school exams as well.

• As the syllabus of class 9 and 10 are prepared to work as a base for class 11 and 12, it helps students undergoing coaching to score better marks in the higher secondary exams.

• Students at coaching centres work harder towards a goal in a competitive environment, and this helps them build a habit of discipline and punctuality.

• As students undergo coaching for 4 years as part of the curriculum, the pressure and stress associated with learning are evenly spread out. The availability of more time to understand the concepts and clear doubts helps students to have a better understanding of the subjects.

• Students of coaching centres can prepare themselves for various competitive exams as well.

The Cons of Joining NEET Coaching From Class 9

• Enrolling for coaching classes is worth the effort, time and money spent if one is sure to opt for Medicine as their career. Without a clear idea about what this career path is all about, or if there is any doubt about whether they are fit for this career, it is better for the student to be sure about this before they join coaching.

• Focusing only on a single career may restrict the vision of the student, making them less receptive to other career options. This might restrain them from trying other career choices that might be equally or a better fit for them. Students at the age of 14 or 15 are often not that matured to make such a crucial decision about their career.

• High school is an essential phase in the development of emotional, social, and personal aspects of a child. Exposure to various activities helps a student develop into a decent person. But such personality development may suffer if the child spends a major part of their available time in attending coaching classes and preparing for competitive exams.

• The coaching curriculum being focused and rigorous, students are expected to spend much of their time in attending coaching classes and to self-study at home. This limits the student's involvement with the school, thus hampering their academic and social life of the school.

The Pros of Joining NEET Coaching From Class 11

• If a student starts attending coaching classes from 11th standard, he or she can use the earlier years to participate in various activities that help in building their skills and personality.

• The student also comes to know about different careers available and their scopes before selecting the right one for them.

• In addition to knowing the various career choices and their scopes, students also get an understanding of themselves, making it easier to select the right career option. They are more confident about their choice of career and are motivated to work harder to succeed in their chosen career.

• With age and maturity, students find it easy to evaluate whether to opt for coaching or not and if they have the required time for it. The student is in a better position to deal with the pressure and stress associated with competitive exams.

The Cons of Joining NEET Coaching From Class 11

• Students at this age have to deal with multiple expectations, and enrolling for entrance exam coaching can only add to their existing pressure. Once a stream is selected, they have to deal with a more advanced syllabus and coaching may turn out to be an added burden.

• Starting coaching at this time may put the student at a disadvantage in comparison with students who have started preparation much earlier. They need to work much harder to achieve the expected level, which requires changing their daily routine.

• The student is left with only two years to complete the entire syllabus. Hence, preparing for coaching means giving less time to prepare for board exams, and this may affect their scores. There are chances of the student suffering from increased stress and pressure.

When to Start Coaching for NEET - Class 9 or 11?

The answer lies in taking into account various factors like the student's capability to deal with academic pressure, schedule and routine, their comfort level with tutored learning, and their clarity about their attainable goal.

If you are unsure about whether to enrol your child in coaching in class 9, though you would like them to be at the forefront, you can encourage them to begin self-study in class 9 and 10. Let them begin their studies with competitive exam books along with their academic books. Let them start slow and increase their preparation with time. The 2 years of preparation can provide your child with the head start for dedicated preparation during coaching study later on.

It must, however, be noted that coaching classes are not an absolute necessity as many NEET aspirants have performed remarkably well without it too. It is up to your child and you to decide the best course of preparation to pass the NEET exams successfully.

Conclusion

It is quite natural for parents to see their children become successful in their career and life; but in seeking to make this happen, you must not set high expectations for your child that could put unnecessary pressure on them and may affect their emotional development.

Hence, parents must not set their children's career choice in stone in their early years without exploring the various career options available that have similar (or even better) growth potential. Let your children explore and understand the various career avenues and their own potential before setting the career that matches best with them. If you are doubtful about the selection of career for your child, feel free to contact an expert and discuss in detail.

To succeed in NEET exams, a student must have strong basic and clear concepts of the subjects. EMC2EDU works tirelessly to provide the best in their NEET classes in Pune that help the student pass the test with aplomb.

Subtle Botox Injections For A Youthful Rejuvenated Face

By

Lines and creases that settle on the face are often called expression lines, and they develop over time as we age. We express ourselves by laughing, smiling, squinting, frowning and talking, causing the fine lines around eyes and forehead to deepen and for lines to appear around the mouth. Smoking, stress and sun exposure will also cause wrinkles to etch deeper into the skin. Botox is a safe, fast and simple solution for reducing fine lines and wrinkles.

Botox injections are one of the most popular performed non-surgical cosmetic procedures, and if you would like to have more self-confidence in your appearance, then botox injections can make your face look and feel more relaxed and rejuvenated. The results of botox treatment last between three and four months, then they gradually start to fade, but if you have repeated botox treatments, the results might last longer.

The benefits of botox include:

Softer, smoother looking skin

It can relax frown and stress lines

Reduces lines around the lips

Opens up the eyes

Will give you a refreshed appearance

Eliminates crows feet around the eyes

Safe, quick, injectable treatment

Proven results

No recovery time

Botox treatment is usually painless, but some clients might experience minimal discomfort. Your chosen cosmetic clinic practitioner can minimise any potential discomfort by applying a topical anaesthetic before your treatment, making the botox injection gentle and pain-free. The cosmetic team will put you at ease and give you support throughout the experience.

A very fine needle injects a tiny amount of botox into the facial muscles where you want to erase wrinkles and fine lines, and although the injections are quick you might experience a small pin-prick feeling. It might be necessary to have multiple injections, depending on the depth of the facial lines. The treatment is safe and you are able to drive yourself to and from your clinic appointment and you can return to your regular activities immediately following your botox treatment.

You will usually see the results of your botox treatment within a few days and you'll see more improvement after two weeks when your muscles will be inactive. Your skin will soften and the fine lines and wrinkles will become less visible, giving your face a firmer, more youthful appearance. Subtly administered botox treatment can control how you look as you get older, but this treatment isn't about making you look years younger, but more about making you look fresher, relaxed and rejuvenated.

If you need help choosing a cosmetic procedure, we provide an extensive range of cosmetic procedures for the face and body: Botox, Vaser Lipo, Lip Augmentation, Dermal Fillers and many more treatments, to help create a younger, slimmer, more youthful looking you!
